The project illustrates an architectural approach with thoughtful and very responsive design strategies in successfully addressing both historical and modern spatial priorities. The massing design is well-articulated and well-proportioned to ensure smooth integration with its surroundings while sustaining a very strong civic identity for the building. The façade design, very responsive to local architectural traditions, is excellent in addressing both scale, lighting, and materialization. The interior space is well-organized with a well-defined order to ensure efficiency and comfort. The project illustrates very good conceptual understanding and design development.
One possible approach would be to enhance the public realm interface further. Improving ground-level transparency or incorporating more transitional spaces may enhance interaction with pedestrians and make the building an active part of the urban environment.
